Manningtree is one of our key areas, together with neighbouring Lawford and Mistley. We offer regular 6-weekly and 12-weekly window cleaning, one-off cleans and commercial window cleaning across the town and the rest of the CO11 area.
With a parish population of under 900 at the 2021 census, Manningtree is one of England’s smallest towns, but its built-up area runs on into Lawford and Mistley along the River Stour. That gives a real mix of properties: older buildings and shopfronts on the High Street, cottages and terraces in the older streets, and family homes towards Lawford.
Older properties often have small-paned or timber windows. We clean them with a soft brush and purified water on a water-fed pole rather than soap, and the pure water dries naturally without watermarks. Frames, sills and doors are included on every visit. If you have an original wooden front door with no threshold or weather strip, we wipe it with a damp cloth instead, so that water doesn’t run underneath it.
Homes along the estuary and on the road known as The Walls towards Mistley look straight out over the river, where wind and spray can leave glass looking dull. A 6-weekly round suits homes that face the water. If you’re further back, 12-weekly may be enough.
If you commute from Manningtree station, you don’t need to be in. We text you the evening before your clean, and you just leave the side gate unlocked for the day.
